Well I gotta get caught up to speed in the next few days, so pardon the backlogs. Geoff and I found a spot, although not the most ideal and lacking in internet, so I'm writing from a hostel cyber cafe. I'll put photos of our place up so everyone can be shocked/amazed. The last week in Beijing has been a rollercoaster ride, which is nothing new, but it's nice to have a place to call home (at least until Sept.).
I've been seeing old friends and making new ones. I find myself either glued to a TV when at a restaurant/bar, and even got to see my first Olympic event in person. Beach Volleyball, and the US womens team beat Cuba! If they rebroadcast, I might be on TV, waving a US flag and leading cheers in both Chinese and English (it helped get our Chinese friends into the mix). I'll put those photos up.
